Mission Opportunity.  We’re heading on another disaster relief mission trip to Springfield on the anniversary of last year's tornado to build 4 new homes for victims.  This is a joint project with Habitat for Humanity.  Dates for the trip are Sat–Mon., June 2-3-4.   Costs are approximately $40- $60 for food and all local cost of housing.  Local donations and partial food costs will be taken care of by Missions.  Minimum age 18 for a Habitat build.  Sign up in Narthex or respond ASAP to either Barbara Hansen, 508-694-6544, Pastor Fred, 774-212-1851, or the office.

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6pm at the Habitat Office, 411 Rt. 6A, Yarmouthport.

The next Men’s Breakfast & Discussion Group will be Thursday, May 31st from 7-8:15am at the Hearth ‘N Kettle on Rt. 28 in South Yarmouth. This month’s topic will be Pastor Mike's "Don't Forget the Therefores" sermon.  Copies are available by clicking here to read and print..  Please let Tom Kerr know if you will attend.  There is a $10 charge that includes choice of breakfast, juice, coffee and tip.  The men have found this to be a very meaningful time for discussion and Christian sharing and always welcome new comers.

GOOD FRIDAY WALK AND EASTER SUNDAY DINNER PHOTOS:  Click here for pictures of Peggy and Mike Stotts participating in the Canal Walk for Haiti on Good Friday.  This was an extension of our Changing the World for April.  Several members of Northside walked and/or pledged for those who did walk.  Donations will be used to rebuild the Home of the Infants of Jesus Orphanage in Haiti.  Since the earthquake the children have been housed in tents.  Then check out the feast and happy faces of the 14 people enjoying Easter dinner at our church.  Thank you to the organizer and chef, Marge Mayer.

One individual commented that he had been resisting going in for the all night Sleep Apnea test, but discovered at the Fair that the test can now be performed in the home.  Coupled with new, improved masks for CPAP therapy, it will no longer be an issue if the testing proves that therapy is necessary.
