Every year the "Brewster in Bloom" weekend is held, usually early in May. This weekend is filled with arts and crafts, antique and collectible markets; events for children, chowder festivals, a 5K Fun Run, and a parade that includes the traditional Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard plus several bands. Come to the parade wearing a Northside UMC Red T-shirt and cheer for Northside's entry as it passes by. The parade starts on Underpass Road and goes west on Route 6A ending at Swamp Road.
